EPL Focus Issue

Submissions to the Focus Issue will undergo the same peer-review process as standard EPL articles and must therefore meet the usual requirements of broad interest.

The research covered in the Focus Issue titled New Trends of Non-Equilibrium Phenomena across Complex Systems: From Brain to Climate must be original; the article must adhere to the 7-page limit of EPL. There is also the option for contributors to submit a Perspectives-type article if they wished. For further information consult Guidance – EPL (Europhysics Letters).

There are no mandatory APCs as EPL is a subscription journal. Should any authors wish to have their articles published Open Access then APCs would apply unless the author was at an institution that has a Transformative Agreement with IOPP, or was eligible for a discount/waiver (About EPL - IOPscience - Publishing Support).
